About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Bachelor-Qualified Early Childhood Teacher to deliver our funded kindergarten program (3 and 4 year old programs being offered). The Early Childhood Teacher will lead the educational program, support and guide your team while providing high-quality learning and excellent care for the children.
You will report directly to the Service Manager, Nominated Supervisors, and the service Leadership Team, and work collaboratively with Believe Early Learning educators, families, and the community to deliver excellence in early childhood education while upholding Believe Early Learning’s commitment to safeguarding and protecting children in our care.

What You’ll Do
- Lead Educational Excellence: Plan, implement, and evaluate innovative, play-based programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF).
- Mentor and Collaborate: Guide and support your team to deliver high-quality education and care while fostering a professional and respectful team environment.
- Child Protection: Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all children, maintaining a vigilant approach to safeguarding in line with child protection laws.
- Build Relationships: Engage with families to share insights about their child’s development and promote family participation in the learning journey.
- Environment Management: Maintain a safe, clean, and inviting learning environment that supports exploration and creativity.
- Uphold Standards: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and service policies while contributing to ongoing quality improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or ACECQA-recognized equivalent.
- Current certifications in First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis management.
- Current VIT and a recent Police Check (within the last six months).
- A comprehensive understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and child protection legislation.
- Strong knowledge of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build meaningful connections with children, families, and team members.
- Commitment to upholding the service’s philosophy, fostering cultural inclusion, and promoting sustainability.
- A deep commitment to safeguarding children and upholding their rights.
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and First Aid, including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
- Recent Police Check – within the last 6 months
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
