About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Cert III or Diploma-Qualified Educator Float to assist with the daily operations of the room and support and guide your team members while providing high-quality learning and excellent care for the children. 

You will report directly to the Service Manager, Nominated Supervisors, and the service Leadership Team, and work collaboratively with Believe Early Learning educators, families, and the community to deliver excellence in early childhood education while upholding Believe Early Learning’s commitment to safeguarding and protecting children in our care.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the Room: Assist Program Leaders and Educators in daily operations, ensuring a smooth and productive learning environment. 
  • Engage with Children: Supervise, interact with, and support children’s learning and development through meaningful activities. 
  • Maintain Safety: Promote safe practices, ensure active supervision, and follow child protection laws and policies. 
  • Collaborate with Families: Build strong relationships through regular communication about their child’s progress and experiences. 
  • Contribute to Quality: Assist in delivering programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS). 
  • Uphold Cleanliness: Help maintain a safe, clean, and engaging environment for children. 

Requirements

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or actively working towards). 
  • First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications. 
  • Working with Children Check and completion of Child Protection Training. 
  • Understanding of EYLF, NQS, and child protection legislation. 
  • Knowledge of educator-to-child ratios and risk assessments. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster relationships with children, families, and team members. 
  • A clear commitment to children’s well-being, cultural inclusion, and fostering their rights and self-expression. 
  • A deep commitment to safeguarding children and upholding their rights. 
  • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and First Aid, including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training. 
  • Recent Police Check – within the last 6 months 
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
